Welcome to Celeste’s Beauty Academy! We are excited to have you on board for our Online Lash Extension & Business Course. In order to ensure a smooth and professional learning experience, we ask that you carefully read and understand the following policies before enrolling. These policies are designed to protect both students and the Academy while providing you with the best possible educational experience.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Celeste's Beauty Academy (ABN 27 900 392 857) for all courses, downloadables and services. By purchasing, enrolling in, or using the course, downloadable or services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this policy, including any future modifications. You also agree to all disclaimers & copyright laws. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not enrol to any courses or purchase any downloadable or services.
Course Overview
Celeste's Beauty Academy offers an online Course designed to teach individuals how to apply lash extensions and operate a lash extension business. The Course may include instructional videos, materials, webinars, and other resources, which are delivered online through the Website. You will learn how to create classic, hybrid & volume sets as well as natural, cat eye and open eye lash styles. You will be required to preform lash extension services on model/s to graduate from this course. You will be required to re-submit the assignments if they do not meet the standards required to graduate. You will receive your certificate of completion within 3 days of graduating via email.
Please know information given regarding business registration, tax, super, GST, organising income & expenses along with all business information is advice only. Celeste's Beauty Academy is not qualified to provide this information however this is from their personal experience within the industry and is currently what they do.
Eligibility and Registration
To enrol in the Course, you must:
Be at least 16 years old, Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and agree to comply with all applicable laws, including Australian Consumer Law and any local regulations relevant to your business practices.
By registering for the Course, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Course Fees and Payment
The Course fee will be clearly displayed on the Website at the time of purchase. Payments must be made via the available payment methods listed on the Website. All prices are listed in AUD and include any applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. Payments for the Course are non-refundable, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
Buy Now- Pay Later Payments
Please know that orders made with buy now, pay later platforms are final and the platform used may have their own charges.
Intellectual Property
All content provided as part of the Course, Downloadables or Services, including videos, written materials, images, trademarks, and any other intellectual property, is owned by Celeste's Beauty Academy or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or share any content from the Course, Downloadable's or Services, without prior written consent from Celeste's Beauty Academy. If you do so, legal action will be taken.
Course Enrolment & Access
Course Enrollment: Students will be enrolled in the course upon successful payment. Upon enrollment, students will receive immediate access to the course materials. Access to all course content, including videos, tutorials, resources, and any downloadable content, is available through the student portal.
Course Duration: This is a self-paced online course. Once you have purchased The Complete Lash Extension & Business Online Course, you will have unlimited access until you graduate. This means there is no set timeframe for you to complete this course, and you can progress at your own pace. Once you have graduated and received your certificate, you will have access to this course for three months. After three months, the course will expire, and you will no longer have access to it.
Prerequisites: No prior experience is required to enroll, though a passion for beauty and a willingness to learn is essential for success. You must be 16 years or older to enrol into our Complete Lash Extension and Business Online Course. You will be required to preform lash services on a mannequin head and model/s to graduate.
Marking Timeframes
Celeste's Beauty Academy will mark the assignments that you upload during business hours and aim to have assignments marked within 3 business days. Please be aware that, in some cases, more time may be required for us to mark your assignments such as if the educator is on holiday.
Student Kit Shipping & Delivery Timeframes
If you choose to purchase your course with a student lash kit, your kit will be shipped by Serenity Lash. Serenity Lash aim to post all orders within 48 hours however, sometimes this may take longer. Delivery times will depend on your area however you can view Serenity Lash's delivery time frames on their website. You can start your online lash and business course before receiving your student lash kit.
Course Content & Intellectual Property
All course content provided is the intellectual property of Celeste’s Beauty Academy. You agree not to copy, share, or redistribute any of the course materials without express written permission from the Academy. Students are forbidden to share their login details with anyone or share the course material, if they are found to do so they will no longer have access to the course material (including if they haven't graduated) and no refunds will be given.
Student Conduct & Expectations
Active Participation: We encourage all students to engage with the course content fully and at their own pace. The more you engage with the material, the more likely you are to succeed in the course and apply the techniques in a real-world setting.
Professionalism: Students are expected to maintain a professional attitude throughout the course. This includes respectful communication with instructors, peers, and anyone involved in the course community. Harassment, discrimination, or any other disruptive behavior may result in being removed from the course without a refund.
Completion Requirements: In order to receive a Certificateof Completion, students must complete all required modules, assignments, and pass the final quiz/exam with a score of 100%. Once all requirements are met, students will receive their certificate via email.
Downloadable's Policy
Our online downloadable's are information ONLY. Purchasing our downloadable does NOT provide you with a certificate of completion and qualify you to become a lash technician/ artist. These downloadable are the products of Celeste's Beauty Academy and are not to be shared, copied or sold without consent from Celeste's Beauty Academy.
Limitation of Liability
Celeste’s Beauty Academy is not liable for any financial loss, personal injury, or damage resulting from the use or application of the course content. While we provide high-quality training and resources, individual results may vary based on experience, effort, and application. Students are encouraged to apply course knowledge responsibly and within the bounds of relevant local regulations & laws and best practice standards. All business information in this course is recommendations and advice only as well as what Celeste’s Beauty Academy does for her business. Celeste’s Beauty Academy is not liable for any decisions you make regarding your business and finances.
Termination of Enrollment by Celeste’s Beauty Academy
Celeste’s Beauty Academy retains the right to terminate a student’s enrollment under the following circumstances:
Non-Compliance with Policies: If a student fails to adhere to the Academy's policies, code of conduct, or any terms outlined in the student agreement.
Disciplinary Actions: If a student’s behavior leads to complaints from Academy staff, instructors, or other students, and such behavior disrupts the learning environment or compromises the integrity of the course.
Safety Concerns: If, in the educator’s professional judgment, the student’s actions or behavior create an unsafe environment, pose a threat to the health and well-being of others, or put any individual at risk.
Discretionary Cancellation: The Academy reserves the right to terminate enrollment at its discretion for reasons not specified above, where it is deemed in the best interest of the Academy and its community.
In the event of termination, students will be notified in writing, and no refunds will be issued for any part of the course fees paid.
